2010 Results - 5 Races Sailed
Crystal Ball 2010 started with a cold rain on Saturday, September 11. The first race was a soaker, but Kent Davis of Crystal Sailing Club prevailed. After a postponement and a chance to warm up in the clubhouse by the fire, the rain finally ended allowing another race to be scored with Frank Gerry coming out on top. A beautiful blue, cloudless and breezy day followed on Sunday allowing the RC to conduct the remaining 3 races. Nice long courses tested sailors ability to sail the wind shifts. Forest Rogers came on strong finishing 1st in two of the three races, but it was Frank Gerry who came out on top after 5 races. Congratulations to all participants, and a big thank you to all who make this a successful regatta, year after year. -S. Last
